The Smell of Spring
Yesterday's crowd rendition of Aquarela Do Brasil at Ajinomoto Stadium during the FC Tokyo vs Jubilo Iwata game got me in the mood for some Brazilian tunes. Unfortunately, the weather seems to have backtracked a little with cold and drizzly rain today...

Well, music is a good way to inspire the soul, and I tracked down a free complete version of the song: Click Here to Listen. This version, by Ary Barroso, I believe was recorded in the 1930s -- here is the page with all the lyrics if you'd like to sing along.

A relatively more updated version, this clip from Gal Costa may be more familiar to most. (You will have to click on the speaker-icon button in the list to hear the clip)

Nakamura battling it out in the New Adidas Commercial

Here's a fun new star-studded Adidas commercial. The ending tableaux is definitely worth the look-see. (You'll have to choose between the high or low bandwidth versions)
